don't look back

So a beautiful sunset, gorgeous scenery, reflective seawater - all ingredients for a perfect photo but would I look at the camera???

No way! There was a black labrador walking the other way which was far more interesting BOL

Frog prince?

A bit of a shock to see this frog sitting on the pavement tonight, a friendly sniff hello soon had it hopping towards the hedge though!

Vitakraft Beef-Stick Hot Dog 30g

What is it?

A salami meat stick (with 29.2% beef) wrapped in a cereal shell
without artificial colouring (contains preservatives) and packaged in a foil outer for freshness

 What was it like?

Delicious! The coating looks a little like pastry, but not crumbly, and the meat stick was very tasty ... all in all the whole thing was demolished within seconds!!!

Would you buy it again?

It was quite pricey compared to the plain beef sticks (by the same brand) so this would be a rare treat reserved for special occasions!

Touching Base!

If there is one thing better than retrieving my ball, it's retrieving my ball from the water ...

... even the ducks wanted to play and kept swimming to investigate the ball, luckily I ignored them totally!

Too tired to grumble

It's late and all I want to do is sleep but oh no, it's like "we gotta take a photo"

Put on a pedestal

Today we set off for a walk not knowing where we were going, we explored places we'd never been before and ended up at the top of the hill - a walk where we were 'lost' but knew where we were!

Do you know what we mean?

~~~~~
Look what we found today, these heads of bright red berries are Lords and Ladies (Arum maculatum) and are quite common, they appear in spring butonly stand out in late summer when the berries form!
B&M Natural Instincts Super Squeaky Chipmunk
 What is it?
A stuffed toy chipmunk with a squeaker inside ... designed to ignite natural instints.
 What was it like?
OMD! It has a squeaker ... it lasted minutes!!!
Great great fun ... defluffed/desqueaked/delighted
Would you buy it again?
Good question, it was cheap and cheerful, I'd love another one but my hooman probably wouldn't normally bother buying me toys like this for obvious reasons!
(it didn't last but it was still great fun ripping it up!)
Follow your arrow wherever it points ...
Today we walked around the block, well at least that was the plan ... in reality what actually happened is that I lost my tennie ball somewhere on my travels soooooooooo we all backtracked to see if we could find it.
A few likely places (where I'd stopped to post a Pmail) failed to come up trumps but after nearly reaching home - we eventually found it lying unloved in the gutter!!!
Green grass & dark skies
An evening walk found us facing dark skies and a little rain but lots and lots of green grass!
And these fluffy seedheads are Clematis (tangutica?) which we found growing up someone's fence.
ducking and diving
OK not too keen on getting my paws wet today and would only contemplate it in order to rescue my tennie ball - hence the look of total concentration on my face (including sticking out my tongue!) as I wait for my slave to throw the darn thing in!!!
Geez! All that sun and they chose the coldest day of the summer to blow my pool up ...
Taster
Pedigree Tasty Bites with chicken 95g
What are they?
Small crispy pockets with a meaty chicken filling (4%) to be fed as a treat (I'm allowed 5 a day so this packet should last ages!)
What were they like?
My hooman thought they smelt disgusting but liked their appearance reminding her of a certain breakfast cereal and a brand of cat treats too!
I liked these, they were very easy to eat and tasty.
Did I mention they smell???
Would you buy them again?
Maybe if they were on offer or available in a smaller pack
These are going to last me for ages!!!
ever decreasing circles
A walk along the canal found the farmer had been busy making these straw bales again!
I promise it was a lovely, sunny day but in this pic I'm sitting in the shade.
